Bow Wow: Magazine interview was fake
An interview between Bow Wow and Ozone magazine in which he dissed Jay-Z, Jermaine Dupri, Beyonce and former girlfriend Ciara never happened. According to a press release, his publicist states "the alleged interview is a fantasy created by persons unknown. Statements attributed to Bow Wow were never made by the artist and the purported interview never took place. Neither Bow Wow nor Ozone magazine had anything to do with generating the fake interview. One can only assume the alleged interview is either a misguided attempt at humor or a horrible prank." Bow Wow is also quoted in the release. "When you gain success and are doing something positive, there's always someone out there that wants to see you fail," Bow Wow said in the statement. "I wonder what they'll come up with next? My fans know that I would never say anything like what's in that interview." Bow Wow's new album The Price of Fame is due in stores Dec. 19. According to Bow Wow, the title refers to a rough year, which he called "emotional and stressful. I felt like I was going crazy with things bothering me, and all this comes with being famous."
