Proof's one-day album will surface in 2007
The late Proof's legacy will live on when his label releases an album recorded in just 24 hours next year. Proof, D12 founder and Eminem's close friend, was challenged by DJ Jewels Baby in January to write and record a full album in one day. Proof delivered 18 songs for Time a Tell, which will be released by Iron Fist Records. "It shows how serious Proof was about recording," Jewels Baby, whose real name is Julius Myers, told The Detroit News. Proof's debut, Searching for Jerry Garcia, dropped in 2005. He was killed April 11 at the CCC nightclub in Detroit after an argument escalated into gunfire.
