React: Is Jay-Z's comeback a good idea?

Public Enemy, X-Clan unite for tour
Hip-hop legends Public Enemy and X-Clan have announced they will unite for a monthlong tour together. The tour launches on Dec. 5 in San Diego and hits key major markets across the U.S. before wrapping up in Fargo, N.D. on Dec. 22. "Everybody that I know in the cultural worlds of music dreams about a tour with Public Enemy and the X-Clan. No longer a dream, the reality manifests in December 2006," says X-Clan frontman Brother J. "Public Enemy has been holding it down for the longest and they were the first major conscious group to do it big for the people. Chuck D is my inspiration for remaining independent with my music and I will salute that wisdom by spitting the fire on this tour. Let the word be born: Revolution, evolution, the solution. Peace!" The tour announcement comes on the heels of X-Clan's appearances on BET's 106 & Park, Def Poetry Jam, the Legends of Hip-hop concert and sold out tours with Grammy-winning reggae star Damian "Jr. Gong" Marley and Jurassic 5. X-Clan, which debuted in 1990 with the classic To The East Blackwards, is about to drop their first studio album in over a decade. Return From Mecca features guest appearances by KRS-One, RBX and DJ Quik. P.E.'s Chuck D, Flavor Flav, Professor Griff and DJ Lord released Rebirth of a Nation featuring Paris earlier this year.
