React: Is Jay-Z's comeback a good idea?
Jay-Z 'Hangar Tour': 7 shows, 7 cities, 1 day Jay-Z's world tour apparently didn't tire him out, because the Def Jam president is ready to unleash an unprecedented U.S. tour -- seven shows in seven cities in one day. According to FMQB, "The Jay-Z Hangar Tour" will fly into Atlanta, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and Las Vegas -- all on Nov. 18. Always the businessman, Jay-Z got a cell phone company to foot the bill for the planned 17-hour tour, which will play to radio contest winners at an airport hangar in each location. Two fans will win the chance to accompany Jay on his private jet for the remaining stops on the tour and witness the grand finale in Vegas. As a bonus, they'll each get an outfit from Jay's Roc-A-Wear clothing line. No word on what happens if there are any flight delays, but the concert series also will be available for viewing on the sponsor's cell phones. Jay-Z's comeback album, Kingdom Come, arrives in stores a few days later on Nov. 21.
