React: Is Jay-Z's comeback a good idea?
Ludacris takes over top spot on singles chart
Ludacris earns his third No. 1 single, as "Money Maker" featuring Pharrell advances one rung to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 this week. The cut replaces Justin Timberlake's "SexyBack," which falls to No. 2 after topping the Hot 100 for seven weeks but remains atop the Pop 100 for a seventh frame. "Money Maker" is also the Hot 100's greatest airplay gainer and rises from No. 2 to No. 1 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, ending the two-week run of Chris Brown's "Say Goodbye." Meanwhile, Timberlake's new single "My Love" featuring T.I. climbs from No. 13 to No. 8 on the Hot 100. Akon's "Smack That" featuring Eminem stays at No. 4 on the latter chart.
Lady Sovereign's "Love Me or Hate Me" is the top debut at No. 81.
