Common No. 1 for first time with 'Finding Forever' album
Common has dropped plenty of critically acclaimed albums, but never has one of his releases been met with a higher approval rating from fans than Finding Forever. For the first time in his 14-year career, Common finds himself at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart. The disc, which moved 155,000 units in its first week, actually sold 30,000 fewer copies than 2005's Be, but landed a spot higher than that album debuted and peaked. Finding Forever, which once again features production from Kanye West, knocked the Now 25 hits compilation from its two-week perch in the top spot.
