DMX in traffic accident
DMX was ticketed Sunday for driving on the shoulder of the road and driving with a suspended license after getting in a car accident in White Plains, N.Y. X's car was hit from behind when he tried to re-enter the road from the shoulder while passing backed-up traffic. "There was congestion on the parkway, and he apparently was driving on the shoulder to avoid it," deputy Westchester County police commissioner Monte Long told the White Plains Journal News. "When he pulled back onto the right lane, the other driver didn't have time to stop."
This was the second traffic incident in 10 days for DMX in White Plains. X, whose real name is Earl Simmons, received several tickets June 2 for excessive speeding and for driving on a suspended license. He is due in court for the earlier violations on Friday. Latest news...
