Beanie Sigel shot in the shoulder Beanie Sigel was shot in the shoulder during an attempted robbery early Thursday in Philadelphia. Police said five men in two cars held up Sigel around 7 a.m. in what his attorney, Fortunato Perri Jr., told the Associated Press appeared to be "a random act of violence." After a few hours, Beanie was released from a Philadelphia hospital, saying as he left, "I got shot. I'm cool." The Philadelphia Inquirer reported that when he exited the hospital wearing a gown, blue jeans and a blanket, Sigel's left arm was in a sling, his left hand was bloody and his left shoulder was bandaged. Beanie was released from prison in August after serving a year on a gun charge and returned briefly in November for failing to pay child support. Latest news...
