Method Man arrested for marijuana possession
There was no denying "How High" Method Man was when he was pulled over as he approched a Battery Tunnel toll booth, so apparently he didn't even try. Tunnel authorities stopped Meth around 10 p.m. Thursday as he traveled from Brooklyn to Manhattan because his 2005 green Lincoln Navigator's inspection sticker had expired. But when Method Man rolled down the window, the officer allegedly found a lot more. "It was like something out of 'Cheech and Chong,' a source told the New York Daily News. "He rolls down the window and the smoke would choke a horse." Two marijuana blunts and a plastic bag containing more were immediately spotted by the officer. When Meth was asked if any more drugs were in the vehicle, he calmly admitted that there was some under the driver's seat. "I guess he was feeling mellow," a police source told the New York Post. In all, 28 grams of marijuana was found and Meth, whose real name is Clifford Smith, was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence, unlawful possession of marijuana, criminal possession of marijuana, and driving an uninspected motor vehicle. Method Man was arraigned Friday in Brooklyn Criminal Court and released.
