Diddy's child support appeal denied New York's Supreme Court declined Tuesday to hear Sean "Diddy" Combs' appeal of a lower court decision ordering him to pay more than $19,000 a month in child support to ex-girlfriend Misa Hylton-Brim. The ruling ends a legal battle that dates back to 1996 concerning the care of Hylton-Brim's son, Justin, who is now 12. During that time, rulings on Puffy's monthly payments have varied from $2,795 to $35,000, with the most recent ruling of $19,000 per month lowered from $21,782. Hylton-Brim originally sued for $398,000 in back support, but a judge awarded a lower, undisclosed amount. Combs' attorney told the Associated Press that he and his client were satisfied with the lower amount, but had hoped the higher court would hear the appeal. "We're pleased the original order was reduced but we thought there were issues applicable for the Court of Appeals to entertain," Stephen Gassman said. Latest news...
