Snoop Dogg arrested at London airport
British media reported Thursday that Snoop Dogg and five others were arrested after a fight at London's Heathrow Airport that injured seven police officers. The Press Association news agency said Snoop's entourage got into an argument with the staff of a duty free gift shop at the airport and began throwing whiskey bottles around after they weren't allowed to enter a first-class lounge. London's Metropolitan Police said officers were called to "reports of a disturbance involving 30 people in a business lounge" at the airport. After police arrived, the group was told that they would not be able to board their flight and, according to a police spokeswoman, as a result "a number of the group became abusive and pushed officers." Six "U.S. citizens in their 30s" were arrested on charges of violent disorder and affray and spent the night at London police stations. Snoop Dogg, who is 34, was supposed to perform in Johannesburg, South Africa, on Thursday.
