As American as baseball and L.L. Cool J L.L. doesn't just stand for Little League in the baseball world anymore. Not since Major League Baseball entered the CD-selling business. In a promotion on their website, customers who purchase L.L. Cool J's new album, Todd Smith, through MLB are entered to win a trip for two to an L.L. concert and also receive access to three full-length audio streams from the new album, an exclusive remix and a sneak peek at his new video. The site offers free listens to current single "Control Myself" featuring Jennifer Lopez as well as "It's L.L. and Santana" featuring Juelz Santana and "Whatever You Want" featuring Freeway. In an interview with MLB, L.L. discussed the similarities between an MC and a baseball player. "Art is art, even if you're on the mound," L.L. said. "There's an art to that. Major League Baseball, baby. The real ballers." The consolation prize for the drawing is 12 tickets to a baseball game. Todd Smith arrives in stores April 25. Latest news...
