Cube, Nelly play hoops in Houston
Ice Cube, Nelly and Bow Wow will be among the stars that take part in the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game in Houston on Friday. Cube and Bow Wow's plays will be drawn up by Clutch City coach Queen Latifah, while Nelly will play on a team called H-Town, which will be coached by Eva Longoria of "Desperate Housewives." Both teams will wear Houston Rockets throwback uniforms. The game will be televised live on ESPN at 7 p.m. ET and is part of the festivities leading up to the NBA All-Star Game on Sunday. In other NBA news, New Jersey Nets part owner Jay-Z has launched a contest to write and record a new theme song for the team. "The Nets are a hot team and we're looking for a song to match the intensity of the players and the game experience," Jay-Z said in a statement. "It's going to be fun to hear the different ways that fans capture the flavor of Nets basketball through music."
