Juvenile protest video debuts
Juvenile's video for "Get Ya Hustle On" debuts on MTV this month, and its harsh criticism of FEMA, New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin and President Bush will fit right in with the recent coverage on 24-hour news channels. Juvenile, who was on tour when Hurricane Katrina destroyed his home, returned to New Orleans late last year to film the clip, tour the aftermath and give hope to displaced residents. "If I don't speak on it, then who will?" Juvenile asks in an interview with Rolling Stone."Put yourself in the shoes of a man that just lost everything he worked for. The government tells you they have no more money. They sent you to a place where you know nobody and they don't have no jobs. I'm saying get your hustle on. Do whatever you gotta do."
